April 25th Official Roster for NBA 2K13 Out Now

A new official roster for NBA 2K13 is now available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U versions of the game, containing lineups that have been updated through April 25th, 2013. It appears as though the PC version has once again missed out on the roster, which changes the ratings for a couple of players and updates the injury status of a few others.

As always, the update will come through automatically as long as your console is connected to the Internet. Since the update has not come through for PC, I obviously cannot provide a new offline update pack at this time. Tweets inquiring about the status of the PC update have gone unanswered, but I would encourage everyone to keep contacting 2K’s reps on Twitter to show support for the PC version and ask for information about the PC rosters and official patch v1.02, which is also still yet to be released.

Hey Julian,

Thanks for contacting 2k Technical Support.

For the most part the PC rosters/patches come after the consoles. They haven’t given us any kind of date or ETA on when the PC version of the game will be updated though. We are not provided with any sort of information that hasn’t already been released to the public so we don’t hand out false info. Your best bet is to check the 2k sports community site and look for updates/announcements there.

Have a great day,

James M.

Consoles will always be 2kSports darling. Nothing too surprising there. Consoles have been there core market from the very beginning going back to the late 90’s and early 2000’s. It will not change. The PC format was late to their game and has only been added to their market in recent years. The PC used to be EA Sports darling because that was their core market going right back to the late 80’s.

I guess if you want to complain and action taken. Go straight to the board. Those guys who call the shots in regards to the real business strategies. They are the 1’s who pull the developers strings to get things done. At the end of the day they give the pay so when they say ‘jump’ the developers say ‘how high’. No use chuckin’ a hissy fit in the forums or on twitter, etc. I doubt it will achieve much.

I have sent 3 requests already to 2kSports support and they ain’t gonna budge for 1 user; however unless everybody who feels cheated takes initiative things might possibly change. I rest my case…..

Yeah, I agree.

No way am I blaming the support staff or the developers, reps, etc.
I know they are just doing their job.
They are just the front liners grinding it out doing all the hard work; however it is the hierarchy (management) who have to be blamed for a lot of things because they make the decisions, they have the final say, they point the finger, etc. Overall they control the business ops and strategies.
I’ve worked for big corps before and it seems like it is always the same old story.
Who knows they might have just told the development team don’t worry about PC updates for now and do this instead. All the developers can say is OK, sure. You’re the boss.
The developers aren’t gonna bite the hands that feeds them.
So, overall I blame some a**hole up top who is not looking out for and excluding a certain section of the market for whatever reason.
Like many others who still continue to support this product we are justified in being a bit ticked off…..
