Lead producer of the PSP version of NBA Live 07 Damian Zerr has posted a new development blog over at IGN, which you can find here. The blog contains a few screenshots from the PSP version as well as an overview of what handheld fans can expect this year. Thanks to M Harlem 231 for the heads up. |

Thanks to everyone who voted in our previous poll which asked "What did you think of the 2005/2006 NBA Season?" 45% of voters felt that last season was excellent, while only 4% said they hated it.
With the release of NBA Live 07 less than a month away, our new poll asks the obvious question: do you plan on getting it? Feel free to share your thoughts on the soon to be released instalment in the NBA Live series in the NLSC Forum. |

I'm told that a new sim league, the UFBA, has just opened and is on the lookout for active and trustworthy GMs. Most of the teams are still available and a fantasy draft will be held soon, so if you're interested get over to the UFBA website ASAP and sign up. |

It was five years ago today that I officially took over as webmaster/admin of the NBA Live Series Center, so I thought I'd take a moment to reflect on my time here at the NLSC. You can find that post here in the Forum.
Thanks to everyone for the continuing support of my efforts as well as those of the entire NLSC team. So far, it's been a blast running the NLSC for five of its ten years in existence. I look forward to bringing you new and exciting coverage of the NBA Live series in the near future. Stay tuned! |

The UBASL is a new sim league with a lot of openings for dedicated players. The league will be simming the first season with NBA Live 06 and then continuing on using NBA Live 07 after its release. If you're interested, please head on over and sign up. |

GamingAccess have released the Japan 06 Basketball WC Center, a utility that allows you to follow the progress of the World Championships of basketball currently being played in Japan. It includes player photos and statistics, tournament history, match reports and much more. You can find the full version here or a light version here. |

I'm told that there's a few openings at the NBA Live Simulation League, with a fantasy draft taking place this Saturday at 1 PM EST so that everybody will be starting over with a clean slate. If you're interested, head on over ASAP and grab one of the remaining teams before someone else does. |

EA Sports have sent us a press release with some information on Dynasty Mode in the Next Gen version of NBA Live 07, which you can read below. They've also sent us a few screenshots and a video preview of Dynasty Mode featuring Next Gen Dynasty producer Nate McDonald which you can find in our NBA Live 07 Media section. |

Out of town August 8th-14th; NBA Live 07 Community Leaders Event |

For those who aren't already aware, I'll be out of town from August 8th to August 14th as I'm flying over to Canada for EA's community leaders event where I'll get a hands-on look at NBA Live 07 as well as the opportunity to ask the producers questions about the game. I'm probably not going to have Internet access while I'm away and even if I do, I'll just be checking in with updates from the conference so I won't be handling regular site business.
If you need to get in touch with me you'll probably have to wait until I get back so please don't get upset if I don't answer an email, private message or post in the Forum until after the 14th. If it's urgent, I'll try to get back to you as soon as possible. Please don't ask me to lock/move/delete any threads in the Forum this week as I won't be online to do so; please ask another moderator or post in the Moderator Requests thread.
I'm looking forward to bringing back some good news and cool stuff from the event. Keep checking the NLSC for updates, I'll have a full write-up when I get back. |

An NBA Live 07 Blog has been posted over at IGN with the first entry written by former NLSC Webmaster and NBA Live 07 producer Tim Tschirner, detailing some of the new features this year. Thanks to Da BaLLa for the heads up.

Diego Rostagnol has informed me that he's released version 1.1 of his editor for NBA Live 06. The new version fixes a couple of bugs involving corrupted files when importing new art and a glitch with the roster order after modifying the databases. Download the latest version of the editor here. |
