Spambot protection added to NLSC Forum |

We should be seeing an end to the Spambot epidemic in the Forum thanks to a new mod that adds some extra protection to the registration form. We will continue to monitor the situation to ensure we remain protected against these unwanted posts and if necessary, take additional measures to prevent them from returning. |

The NLTTL is a non-modem league for NBA Live 07 with a couple of vacancies to fill. If you're interested in taking control of Miami or Houston and can commit to playing two games per week, head on over ASAP and apply. |

07 Cyberface Sweat Pack Released |

The long awaited cyberface sweat pack has finally been released. It adds sweat to all the default faces from NBA Live 07. You will need lighting turned on in the detail settings to view the effect.

A new poll has been posted and this time it relates to the real NBA. Who is your pick for Most Valuable Player as we approach the midway point of the regular season? Cast your vote now!
Our last poll asked your opinion of NBA Live 07 after the release of the official update. Most of you deemed the game playable after installing the patch though 18% voted the game "excellent", while another 18% described the game as being terrible. |

NBA Live 07 Current Roster Update v1.00 Released |

It's taken longer than I hoped but it's finally here: the initial version of the NLSC update for NBA Live 07. You can download it here.
Key features of v1.00:
- 2006/2007 Season Rosters (accurate as of 13/01/07)
- 2006/2007 Season Rosters ignoring injuries (accurate as of 13/01/07)
- Player ratings updated
- Primacy ratings updated for better shot distribution
- Player positions and data updated/corrected
- Cyberfaces for all missing players
- Coaches Updated
- International All-Stars roster bug fixed
- Location information updated
- Teamgear updated to include hidden jerseys
- Missing legends added with cyberfaces and portraits

A new league for NBA Live 06 called the Hoops League has just opened and is on the lookout for GMs. All those interested should check out their website for more details and get in touch with the league commissioner. |

We're now accepting submissions for the NBA Live 08 Wishlist. You can submit your ideas in this thread or by email at wishlist08@nba-live.com; please feel free to submit suggestions for both the Current Gen and Next Gen versions of the game. The Wishlist will be submitted to the NBA Live production team within the next couple of weeks so get in quick.
I'd also like to mention that we're currently holding a poll in the NBA Live General forum to determine the favourite cover player of the NBA Live series thus far. If you haven't done so already, head on over and cast your vote! |

Denver Rockets Home Retro Jersey Released |

This Patch includes:
- The retro jersey worn by the Denver Nuggets againts the Pacers to commemorate their 40th anniversary
- Accurate logos, wordmarks, and colors
- Its very own Jersey Portrait for the jersey select screen.
- it doesn't have an accurate numbers because I can't find one that can is fit for it. I can't find a number file that is black and has orange outline.

A few changes for 2007 |

Welcome to a new year here at the NLSC! Over the next few days I'll be catching up on some file submissions as well as making a few other updates around the site. I also hope to have my current roster update for NBA Live 07 out very soon.
For now, we've made some changes to the NLSC Forum including the addition of a couple of new sections: the NBA Live General section, which will be used for all general chit-chat about the series as well as the Community Switchboard which will cater to league bulletins and other community announcements. You'll also notice that we've condensed some of the older NBA Live sections and moved all Dynasty/Franchise story threads to one central board. A couple of sections have also been freshened up with new names. Finally, the box size for the private messaging system has been increased to 100 and the maximum number of poll options is now 15.
We hope you like the changes and find them to be an improvement. I'm looking forward to another great year for the NLSC. As always, thanks for your continued support! |
