Here is the fix for being unable to view the salary info at the trade players screen. Here is a workaround for the missing player rotation screen in dynasty mode. It replaces the inactive list with the regular reorder roster screen.

Some people have been reporting problems with the PC version of NBA Live 08 crashing after the first quarter. I have yet to experience the crashes myself but since there are a few issues with the PC version again this year it's best we get on top of these issues and report them to EA Sports as soon as possible. I'm presently compiling a list of issues and user information (system specs, etc) in this thread which will be forwarded to EA Sports in the hopes that a patch will be developed.

The PC version of NBA Live 08 is now available in Australian stores and from the impressions and screenshots posted in our Forum, it would appear as though it has hit shelves in parts of Europe as well. Since I’ve now got a copy of the PC version, the first NLSC current roster update for NBA Live 08 will be coming out very soon. Please note that I do not have an exact release date for v1.00 as yet but I’ll likely post a date once the initial version is close to completion. The DBF Editing Guides will also be available very soon.

Now that the PC version has become available in certain parts of the world, I’d like to take a moment to remind everyone that we have a strict policy against posting or requesting download links, cracks or serial codes here at the NLSC. Please note that making such posts in the NLSC Forum is considered grounds for an immediate ban and any links posted in reply to news articles will be deleted and IPs banned from posting comments.

Gamespot are currently running a feature called "Faces of the NBA", comparing the faces of the virtual NBA players in NBA Live 08, NBA 2K8 and NBA 08 and allowing visitors to vote on which face they feel is the most accurate. You can check it out and cast your vote here.

The PC version of NBA Live 08 is scheduled to hit stores across Europe today. A few of our Forum members have reported seeing it on the shelves, so if you live in Europe and intend to pick up the PC version you should check with your local stores to see if they have it in stock. Please feel free to pass along any local release dates or confirmation that the game is now available where you live. The PC version is still expected to be released on October 30th in North America while October 25th has been listed as a possible release date for Australia.

It appears as though Dynasty Mode still reigns as the most popular feature of NBA Live as 44% of voters in our last poll indicated that it was the feature they were looking forward to the most in NBA Live 08. Of the new gameplay features, Go To Moves seem to have been the most enticing, garnering 26% of the vote.

Since NBA Live 08 has been out for almost a couple of weeks now, our new poll question is an obvious one: What are your impressions of NBA Live 08 so far?

EA Sports have announced that they will be releasing a free, downloadable update that will allow 5-on-5 online team gameplay over 10 seperate users/consoles that is expected to be available by the end of November. Gamers will be able to select a position to lock onto or may freely switch players if there are less than 10 users. The update will be available for both the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions of the game.

For those who are still wondering, the Wii and PC versions of NBA Live 08 will be released in Europe on October 19th while the PC version will be available in North America on October 30th. My fellow Australians may be interested to know that the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Playstation 2 versions of NBA Live 08 have now been released. No word on when the PC version will be released in Australia as yet as there are some conflicting dates with the PC release still slated as being October 30th in the US and Canada. If you have any information regarding release dates for your part of the world, please send it along and I'll be sure to post it.

I have released my final mod for NBA Live 07. It is a street mod with 10 re-done courts, with crowds, and a new street AIACT featuring AI by pdub. C0nr4d also chipped in with new jerseys, and Lean also let me use his practice jerseys. Roster based off the SUMv2 roster with Andrew's latest.

It contains a roster of 120 players consisting of 60 current NBA players, 30 NBA Legends, 20 AND1 players, and 10 Legends from the NBA Street series.
