A new In The Paint blog entry has been posted over on the official NBA Live 08 website and can be found here. It mentions the online team play and official roster updates for NBA Live 08, stating that while there's no set date for their release at this time they will both be out soon. It also talks about the Cavs/Celtics game and fantasy basketball.
Since a few people have been asking about it, I haven't heard anything further about any other official updates, however I've been consistently sending in feedback and updated bug lists to EA Sports and asking about the status of fixes for both the PC and Xbox 360/PS3 versions of the game. As soon as any information becomes available I'll be sure to post it. |

EA Sports have named a winner in their NBA Live Jersey Creator Contest, with the winning entry - a custom Golden State Warriors jersey - on display here. Pastapadre has also spotlighted some other jerseys nominated as "EA Favorites", which you can check out here. |

Work has begun on the annual NBA Live Wishlist, which you can check out here. This year we're changing the format slightly to include a rundown of the things we want to see in the game (including existing features, instead of new features/fixes as in years past), things we'd really like to see and a shortlist of recurring bugs; more information can be found in the official NBA Live 09 Wishlist thread. Please feel free to start adding your feedback via the Forum or email. |

Update on Online Team Play in NBA Live 08 |

For those who haven't already seen the latest community blog post, it seems as though the press release stating that the online update for NBA Live 08 did indeed jump the gun as some unspecified issues resulted in the update being pulled at the last minute. As I understand it, the update will still be made available for both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 users but there is no new release date at this time. |

The NBA Live League Association has launched its new website for NBA Live 08 including real salaries, NLLA TV and much more, which you can check out here. Three teams are currently available, so if you'd like to participate head on over for more details. |

I've now finished my first few patches for NBA Live 08. It's a small start, but a start none the less..
Blank Dorna
This file will let you view custom dornas that comes with court patches.

Blank Replay Target
This will remove the icon in the replay menu that shows where the camera is aiming.

Larry O'Brien NBA Championship Trophy
This patch updates the NBA Championship Trophy to a more realistic looking one.

NBA Street 08 Animations Released |

I have converted Street 07's Street moves to work with 08. It adds dunks that were removed in 08 and also includes a new passing feature. Read the readme for a full breakdown on what is included and how to install.

Online Team Play Update Released |

EA Sports have now released their downloadable update for the Xbox 360 version of NBA Live 08, enabling ten players on ten different consoles to take part in online team play. The feature will now be automatically available to players when online. The same update will be available to Playstation 3 users later this month; unfortunately no other version of the game will benefit from this feature. |

Just wanted to let you know that the news comments aren't quite working as they should right now. I should be able to fix it when I get home. And in case that you've posted a comment that doesn't show already, don't worry about it, I should be able to retrieve it.

The NLW is beginning a new season using NBA Live 08 with updated rosters and an online slider patch to simulate a Dynasty atmosphere, complete with salaries, free agency, rookie Draft and player progression playing five games per week. I have released version 1 of the NBA Street 08. It adds 9 Street courts with 3D crowds to any roster. Just follow the instructions and enjoy.

NBA Live 07 Roster Update v1.17 Released |

A new version (v1.17) of the current roster update for NBA Live 07 is now available to download here.
Key features of v1.17:
- 2007/2008 Season Rosters accurate as of 04/11/07
- All 60 Draftees & undrafted rookies added
- Player ratings updated for more realistic performance
- Primacy ratings updated for better shot distribution
- Player positions and data updated/corrected
- Fatigue ratings updated for better substitution patterns
- Cyberfaces for missing players
- Portraits for missing players
- Coaches updated complete with faces
- Player heights and weights corrected
- Player salaries and contracts updated
- Final 2006/2007 Rosters
- 2006/2007 Opening Night Rosters

NBA Live 08 PC Released in North America |

NBA Live 08 PC should already be hitting shelves around the United States and Canada, with EA's online store listing the PC version as available through the EA Downloader as well as DVD-ROM. For anyone who already has the PC version, don't forget to check out the PC issues thread in the NLSC Forum and give your feedback so that we provide EA Sports with as much information as possible in the hopes that a fix will be developed. |
