I've been told that the Mavericks, Clippers and Grizzlies are still open over at the Live League Online. The LLO is a Draft league that uses NBA Live 2005, if you'd like more information please check out their website and contact Abrough47167 on AIM if you'd like to sign up. |

The Spurs jerseys are now updated for JUMP 08:
San Antonio Spurs Jersey Patch
This patch gives the Spurs:
-Updated home, away and alternate jerseys
-New practice jerseys
-Corrected colors for every jersey
-Recolored numbers and letters
-Resized and repositioned numbers
-New jersey portraits
-Adds the Finals jerseys

Brian Ullrich has answered seven new questions regarding NBA Live 09, which you can find here. Jumpshot animations, shooting percentages, Off-Ball Control and shots attempts around the hoop are some of the issues that are mentioned. The Q&A also reveals that NBA Live 09's Dynasty Mode will not be multiplayer and that Legends will not be in the game, while the Create-a-Player limit remains at 50. |

NBA Live 08 Playoff Simulation |

ESPN Games has posted a simulation of the 2008 NBA Playoffs using NBA Live 08. The game has predicted the Lakers and Celtics will meet in the NBA Finals, with the series currently tied at one game apiece. You can check out the series recaps and latest simulation results here. |

A new version (v1.21) of the NLSC NBA Live 07 Current Roster Update has been released and can be downloaded here.
Key features of v1.21:
- 2007/2008 Season Rosters accurate as of 23/04/08
- Player ratings updated for more realistic performance
- Primacy ratings updated for better shot distribution
- Player positions and data updated/corrected
- Fatigue ratings updated for better substitution patterns
- Cyberfaces for missing players
- Portraits for missing players
- Coaches updated complete with faces
- Player heights and weights corrected
- Player salaries and contracts updated
- East & West All-Stars Updated
- Rookies & Sophomores Updated

New Roster Updates Coming Soon |

Over the next couple of days, I'll be releasing new roster updates for both NBA Live 08 and NBA Live 07. This will allow me to include accurate lineups from the first couple of days of the Playoffs as well as polishing up a couple of other aspects of the rosters. I'm not sure how many updates I'll release through the course of the Playoffs but there'll be a final season update shortly after the NBA Finals and then offseason roster updates will commence shortly after that, most likely after the 2008 NBA Draft. |

Warriors Eliminated; New Poll |

With their loss to the Phoenix Suns, the Golden State Warriors have been eliminated from playoff contention allowing the Denver Nuggets to grab hold of the eighth and final seed in the West. 73% of the voters in our last poll picked the Nuggets to edge out the Warriors and qualify for the postseason.
A new poll is now up and we're back to an NBA Live question. With the recent announcement that NBA Live 09 will not be released for the PC, will you be buying it on another platform? Cast your vote now! |

NBA Live 09 will not be released for the PC |

Coming on the heels of the announcement that Madden 09 will not be developed for the PC platform, an announcement has been posted over on the official NBA Live 08 website stating that NBA Live 09 will also not be released on the PC.
Last week we talked about our decision to not develop this year's Madden for the PC. We've also made the same decision for this year's NBA LIVE on the PC.
Needless to say, this is a huge disappointment for those of us who prefer to play NBA Live on the PC. You can talk about the latest development here in our Forum. |

With the regular season winding down and the 2008 NBA Playoffs less than two weeks away, the Golden State Warriors and Denver Nuggets are currently tied as they battle for the eighth and final seed in the West. Our new poll asks for your pick as to which team will make the cut when the postseason begins April 19th.
Cast your vote now, and don't forget you can talk about the playoff race and any other NBA related topic in the NBA Talk section of our Forum. Also remember that the Warriors host the Nuggets in a nationally televised game on TNT on April 10th, tipping off at 8 PM ET. |

A few notes from leagues seeking GMs:
Luda Balkanska NBA-Live Liga currently has four teams available: the Knicks, Jazz, Mavericks and Heat. Membership is only open to players from Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro.
EuroSlam is an online league that caters to European players. Check out their website or contact the administration on AIM (ITW004), ICQ (340078423) or MSN (ITW004@hotmail.com).
Another team has also opened up at the All-Star Association. The teams that are currently available are the Nuggets, Bucks, Nets and Wizards. Register here and claim your team here. |
