Latest NBA Live 15 Synergy Update Activates All Players

The latest Synergy update for NBA Live 15 has activated all players for Tip Off mode. All 30 teams now feature their best possible lineup, meaning that complete, uninjured rosters are now available for exhibition play as well as Dynasty Mode.

At this point, it remains to be seen whether or not any further ratings or accessory adjustments will be pushed through, given that the 2015 season has come to an end. It’s possible that further end-of-season tweaks may be made, and that the 2015 NBA Draft has postponed one final update for NBA Live 15. For what it’s worth, there was no specific mention of the June 18th roster for NBA Live 15 being the final update for the game in its release notes.

It also remains to be seen whether or not NBA Live 15 will receive an offseason roster update. Last year, NBA Live 14 received an additional roster update following the conclusion of the 2014 season and before the 2015 season commenced, adding offseason movement such as LeBron James’ return to Cleveland. However, the update did not add any of the Class of 2014 rookies, nor did it update player data such as jersey numbers. If NBA Live 15 does receive a bonus roster update reflecting offseason player movement, I imagine it would be a similar situation.

The practice of restricting the Tip Off rosters to the most current active lineups based on Synergy data that was employed in NBA Live 14 and NBA Live 15 was certainly a controversial one. While it was done in the name of realism and keeping the game fresh and up to date, it wasn’t always desirable, especially with the lack of custom rosters in both games. With custom rosters returning in NBA Live 16, hopefully it will no longer be an issue.

Details on June 18th Roster Update for NBA Live 15

New rosters have come through for NBA Live 15, containing updated line-ups and ratings, though the latest update does not reflect Game 6 of the 2015 NBA Finals. The June 18th NBA Live 15 roster contains over 150 ratings changes and six player accessory updates, including a sleeve for LeBron James, and KD7s for Kevin Durant. For a full breakdown of the changes in the latest roster, check out this spreadsheet.

Not surprisingly, NBA Finals MVP Andre Iguodala is one of the players in the spotlight this week, receiving nine points in ratings boosts and currently sitting at 84 overall. On the other side of the ledger, J.R. Smith’s struggles shooting the ball in the championship round have seen his ratings drop, resulting in an overall rating of 82.

It remains to be seen whether NBA Live 15 will receive any more roster updates, including an offseason roster update as NBA Live 14 did last year. If you’ve got any thoughts on the latest NBA Live 15 roster that you’d care to share, feel free to leave them in the comments section below, as well as here in the NBA Live 15 section of the Forum.

Details on June 11th Roster Update for NBA Live 15

A new roster has come through for NBA Live 15, featuring line-ups that have been updated through June 11th, 2015. Although the 2015 season is almost at an end, a significant amount of changes are still being made in these final updates for NBA Live 15, as the latest roster contains over 290 ratings adjustments; for a full breakdown, please see this spreadsheet.

Not surprisingly, Matthew Dellavedova of the Cleveland Cavaliers is one of the players in the spotlight this week, as is Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors. Delly’s play thus far in the NBA Finals has earned him a significant boost in several areas, and he now sits at 76 overall. Klay Thompson’s overall is also up one point, sitting at 85 overall.

If you’ve got any thoughts on the June 11th roster for NBA Live 15, feel free to post them in the comments section below, as well as in this thread in our NBA Live 15 Forum.

Details on June 4th Roster Update for NBA Live 15

Draymond Green in NBA Live 15

The 2015 NBA Finals are upon us, which means the 2014-2015 season is almost at its end. Nevertheless, EA Sports continues to push through roster updates for NBA Live 15, with the latest one containing lineups accurate as of June 4th, 2015. It also includes more than 240 ratings changes; for a full breakdown, be sure to check out this spreadsheet.

Two players who will be seeing a lot of action in the NBA Finals are spotlighted in the latest NBA Live 15 roster: Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors, and Timofey Mozgov of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Green’s continued brilliance at the defensive end has earned him a two point increase to his Blocks rating, and a one point improvement to his Post Defense rating. Mozgov meanwhile has received a one point increase to both his Blocks and Help Defense ratings, as he continues to be a valuable contributor for the Cavs.

Details on May 28th Roster Update for NBA Live 15

A new roster has come through for NBA Live 15, containing line-ups that have been updated through May 28th, 2015. It also contains around 500 ratings changes, and seven player accessory updates. You can check out a full breakdown of all the changes in the May 28th roster in this spreadsheet.

The Cleveland Cavaliers’ J.R. Smith has been spotlighted again this week, along with James Harden of the Houston Rockets. Smith’s fine play off the bench has continued through the Eastern Conference Finals, and as such, he’s now rated 82 overall in NBA Live 15. Despite a couple of stinkers in Game 3 and Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals, Harden’s play throughout the rest of the series including his stellar performance in Game 4 has also earned him a boost, and he now sits at 90 overall.

As always, feel free to add any thoughts on the rosters in the comments section below, as well as in this thread in the NBA Live 15 section of the NLSC Forum.

Details on May 21st Roster Update for NBA Live 15

A new roster has come through for NBA Live 15, with line-ups that have been updated through May 21st, 2015. The latest roster contains more than 1200 ratings changes, along with 11 player accessory updates. For a full breakdown of all the changes, be sure to check out this spreadsheet.

J.R. Smith is in the spotlight this week, as his performance in the Cleveland Cavaliers’ second round series with the Chicago Bulls earned him a one point improvement to 81 overall. If his play in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals is any indication of the groove that he’s in, it’s likely that he’ll be receiving another boost in next week’s roster.

Speaking of the Chicago Bulls, six of their players dropped one point overall, after struggling in their season ending series with the Cavaliers. Joakim Noah was singled out in EA’s bulletin, noting that he averaged just five points per game on 33% shooting.

As teams have been eliminated from the Playoffs, their rosters have been reset to their “prime” line-ups, ignoring any injuries. While this is certainly a welcome decision, we do sorely need the ability to customise rosters and reset injury flags in NBA Live 16.

If you have any thoughts on the latest update, feel free to post them in the comments section below, as well as in this thread in the NBA Live 15 section of the Forum.
