Every few years a basketball game comes along that inevitably captures the imagination of gamers and changes the landscape on which all future basketball titles are compared. For me, it's been something like this: NBA Jam, NBA Live 95, NBA Live 98, NBA Live 2005, NBA 2K7 and most recently College Hoops 2K8.

With the release of NBA Live 10 less than two weeks away, I felt it would be appropriate to take a look at some of the best teams to use in this year's game based on all the offseason moves, with last year's list included for comparison. While Dynamic Season will allow users to play along with the 2009/2010 season without being locked to a team, I can already see certain teams becoming favourites to select in Dynasty Mode and for online games. Below are my picks for the top ten teams to use in NBA Live 10, along with a few other teams you might find interesting.
