Just wondering about the value of that GPU LOGICAL THREAD. Guess my hunch is wrong.
I was thinking that it was somewhat similar to the MAIN LOGICAL THREAD (no. of CPU the game uses?).
0: single core, 1: dual core, 2: triforce(core)! 3: quad core

Tried setting the PARTICLE EFFECT value to 1? If you do, any noticeable difference (lights, reflections, bluriness of the DOF)?
iirc it was set to default at 1 in 2K10, turned mine to 0 (guessing it was the value for OFF, considering my crappy card). Maybe that's the reason for your FPS increase?

I have 3.0 Dual Core 2 what should I use

ummm GTS 250 1gb I have yes

I put it on Max Settings possible it benchmark avg was 55 sometimes it would go up to 95

I guess I am lucky Vsync off of course.

Also what is

windows 7, i'm going to play with the shader and particle thing now (even though there are no particles in the game, the lebron intro and fireworks are texture based)

NastyNacho1, our guess is those first two are based on how many cores you have....but nothing confirmed

the cloth threads could be changed for 2k10 for better fps, search for those threads if you want to know more...your FPS is high enough though where you dont need to do any tweaks.

Your card isn't the best for one thing, lower the settings.

Playing online lag is always a possibility.

If you mean the framerate hiccup that appears from time to time, that's a flaw in the engine and happens no matter what.

if you have lag from half court and around the rim, change this config setting
VIDEOSETTING_REFRESHRATE = 60 to 55, 57 or 58, play with it with vsync on and you will have virtually no lag at all...

Yeah, after taking some more screens, you can really see a drop in quality, especially when you look at Garnett's shorts waistband, and the Celtics jeresys in general. Looks like it turns off the Cloth Physics too.

1 shows up as medium in the player settings, so I added the 0 screens, but honestly, I cannot see a difference between 1 and 0. Animations maybe? Sweat?
