Upon starting the program and once the startup screen appears explaining that this is a free version, it starts to open a Library window over and over on my PC until the program is closed. I remember this happening before with other versions of the REditor but can't remember what the fix was. This didn't start happening until after I requested my license and closed the program. Any ideas what's going on?

You should redownload the program from the same link (which is in the first post) and reinstall it.
