As mentioned in Episode #29 of the NLSC Podcast, R4zoR has recently developed an exciting new technique for creating custom courts for the NBA 2K series. In short, if you can draw or import an image in Photoshop or GIMP, you can add it to a court in the game. He’s very kindly put together a tutorial and pack of resources for anyone who would like to try their hand at modding courts, in a package that you can download at the link below.
I am pretty sure someone can use this for creating courts in nba live 05-08 with the right .crt files.Like the ones used for some of the allstar game courts or the ones TanyaMarkova made.
And big thanks to Razor.
Folks have been doing it for a while with NBA Live’s files, but this is the first time it’s been done for NBA 2K. As we’ve mentioned on a few of the podcasts, we’ve actually had it fairly easy patching NBA Live for all these years, especially the rosters. 2K has presented a bit more of a challenge but fortunately we’ve been building up the tools and know-how with each PC release.
