For the third year in the row, I’ve decided to embarrass myself by publicly sharing my predictions for the upcoming basketball video games. You can take a look at the recap threads for my predictions for NBA 2K12 and NBA 2K13/NBA Live 13 to get an idea at how far off I am each year.
This year I hope to do the prediction series differently, with commentary videos rather than short articles. I will do a wrap up post at the end, but let’s start this all off with a throwaway prediction, the cover athletes for NBA 2K14 and NBA Live 14. Solid predictions, though I think NBA 2K14 might be gradually leaving behind the historical content so I’m not sure about MJ being on the cover. NBA 2K13 did set a precedent for multiple cover players though, so it wouldn’t surprise me if they did that again.
I’ll agree with LeBron being on the NBA Live 14 cover, though I think he’ll be in his Heat uniform.
