The teased commercial for NBA 2K14 has just aired during the pre-game show for Game 1 of the NBA Finals. In it, Steve Kerr is interviewing a shadowed man, asking about 2K and whether or not the man will try and stop them. Instead, he leans forward, reveals himself as LeBron James, and says “No, I’m going to join them”. A shot of LeBron doing his chalk toss on a generic game box with NBA 2K14 is shown before the commercial ends.

Cover looks fine and LeBron is obviously a good choice being one of the faces of the league. At the end of the day of course, it’s just a cover and some bonus content.
I’m sure most people were hoping for a glimpse of the game itself, but that reveal spot was kind of fun.
