Association Mode

Association Mode is the multiseason game mode in the NBA 2K series, granting the user the ability to take control of an NBA team and guide them through multiple seasons, managing the roster and team staff while playing or simulating the games. Unlike Dynasty Mode in the NBA Live series, Association Mode allows users to take control of all 30 NBA teams if desired. It also incorporates the NBA D-League.

NBA 2K11 saw several "under the hood" improvements to Association including improved trade and free agent signing logic, better AI for CPU teams when building their rosters, dynamic attendance, auto-generated portraits for the generated rookies and more.
