Is there a bug fix/alternate version of NBA Live 2001?
No. Plans for an official bug fix reportedly fell through and there was no updated version of NBA Live 2001 released despite claims to the contrary. Supposed "fixed" versions were sometimes made available on peer-to-peer networks but these were merely pirated copies that sometimes included commmunity made patches.
