NBA Live 98 Codes (PlayStation)

The following is a list of codes for the PlayStation version of NBA Live 98. To access the code screen, go to the User Setup screen, highlight the selected team and press up until the Start New option appears. Press X and enter Secrets as the name and press Start. Select the new Secrets option, then select Enter Secret Code.
Certain codes have multiple settings which can be toggled by pressing left and right. The codes will be saved if the game is saved immediately after entering them.

| Unlock the Hitmen Coders team | At the Custom Team screen, enter Hitmen as the city name and Coders as the team name. |
| Unlock the Hitmen Idlers team | At the Custom Team screen, enter Hitmen as the city name and Idlers as the team name. |
| Unlock the Hitmen Pixels team | At the Custom Team screen, enter Hitmen as the city name and Pixels as the team name. |
| Unlock the Hitmen Earplugs team | At the Custom Team screen, enter Hitmen as the city name and Earplugs as the team name. |
| Unlock the EA Europals team | At the Custom Team screen, enter EA as the city name and Europals as the team name. |
| Unlock the TNT Blasters team | At the Custom Team screen, enter TNT as the city name and Blasters as the team name. |
| Unlock the QA Test Tubes team | At the Custom Team screen, enter QA as the city name and Testtubes as the team name. |
| Unlock the QA D-Buggers team | At the Custom Team screen, enter QA as the city name and DBuggers as the team name. |
| Unlock the QA Campers team | At the Custom Team screen, enter QA as the city name and Campers as the team name. |
