Re-Sign Players

I haven't been able to re-sign a player as his counter-offer is 2 million dollars more than I can offer him, when it clearly says you can re-sign your team free agents above salary cap limits. Anyone else having this problem?

Does the player have Bird Rights? If not, that exception doesn't apply. Andrew 00:41, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
