Tim Tschirner
From NBA Live Series Center Wiki
Tim Tschirner is one of the original co-founders of the NBA Live Series Center (with Lutz van Hasselt and Brien Smith) and its webmaster/admin from 1996-2001. He left the site to accept a position with EA Sports on the NBA Live production team, beginning with NBA Live 2001 and ending with NBA Live 07. He continues to work in the gaming industry.
NBA Live Series Center
Tim co-founded the NLSC in 1996 along with Lutz and Brien, as a means of providing their fellow NBA Live fans with patches and tools to edit NBA Live 95 and NBA Live 96. Along with Lutz van Hasselt, Tim is considered one of the originators of the current roster updates and the two shared this duty up until NBA Live 2000 through version 4.02. Their work allowed fans to overcome the limited Create-a-Player options by allowing them to edit hidden values, thus giving created players dates of birth, nicknames, draft information and other bio data. It also allowed users to edit the default players, a function not available in the earlier games in the series. Those who did not wish to update the rosters themselves could easily update their games to reflect the current NBA landscape with the current roster updates.
As the NLSC grew in size and popularity, Tim developed a relationship with EA Sports which allowed the site exclusive interviews and visibility with the production team that Tim would eventually join. During his tenure as the NLSC's webmaster he gained a reputation for being helpful, patient and fair-minded.
EA Sports
Tim's first game as a member of the production team was NBA Live 2001. He was also the lead producer for the Next Gen version of NBA Live 06 and NBA Live 07. During his tenure with EA Sports, Tim has granted several interviews to the site he ran for nearly five years. Tim later worked on FIFA 08 for the Wii.
