New Tutorial on Editing Court Reflections & Colors in NBA 2K13

One of the most confusing and difficult projects in modding the PC versions of NBA 2K has been modifying court colors and reflections. My advice has always been the same, just find a court with the lanes, out of bounds, and lines colored close enough to what you need, and just swap textures to get it to look like you want. There have been tutorials on how to do it with hex editing, but those confused more people than they helped, leaving only an elite handful of court patchers in the community.

Well, thanks to the recent update to the Hex on Steroids tool from Leftos, that is no longer the case. We don’t need to look at the block of hex data to locate and change colors and reflection values. I wrote up a detailed tutorial on how to use the tool to do both colors and reflections. If you have any comments, suggestions, or thanks to give, feel free to check out the thread and share. Best of luck, and I can’t wait to see what the community can make now!
