Quick note on the next NBA Live 10 Update

I've made some enquiries about the second official update for NBA Live 10. There is no specific release date locked in at this time, as soon as that information becomes available to us (as well as the issues addressed by the update) we will be sure to post it. It would appear that a second fix is certainly on the way however, which is good news in the wake of some additional issues that were caused by the first update and some pre-patch issues that will hopefully be addressed the second time around.

NBA Live 10 Official Roster Update Notes

In addition to the daily DNA updates, the latest NBA Live 10 official roster update includes fixed player data and changed ratings to reflect player performance through the first few weeks of the season. Of note, standout rookie Brandon Jennings' overall rating has jumped from 70 to 80, with his production thus far obviously warranting a few ratings boosts. As always, you can check out the latest changes upon downloading the latest DNA update or through the DNA Scouting Report under the Dynamic DNA menu in NBA Live 10.

Info on NCAA Basketball 10's Dynamic Updates

I've been informed that there was an issue with NCAA Basketball 10's Dynamic Updates which was causing problems with online games. The issue has now been resolved and both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 users should be able to download the Dynamic Updates without any problems.

I'm also told that the first official NCAA Basketball 10 Dynamic Update will be made available next Tuesday (the 24th). The update will contain the correct schedules for Dynasty Mode as well as proper rankings and updated stats.

NCAA Basketball 10: Coach's Corner

For those who haven't seen it yet, the official NCAA Basketball 10 website is featuring a "Coach's Corner" section containing videos of various college coaches offering tips on running different types of offenses in this year's game, complete with in-game footage. Four videos are currently available, with John Calipari, Jay Wright, Mike Anderson and Jeff Capel each talking about a specific motion offense. Check them out here.

NCAA Basketball 10 Out Today

NCAA Basketball 10 is available in stores from today for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, if you pick up the game feel free to post your impressions here in the NLSC Forum. EA Sports have also posted a new "sizzle" trailer to coincide with the game's release, you can check it out over on the official website.

New Poll: Interest in NBA Live 11 PC?

Our new poll asks whether or not you would buy a PC version of NBA Live 11. While we do not have any confirmation of a PC release of NBA Live 11 at this time, we certainly intend to demonstrate the interest that remains in the PC platform, as evident by the growing patching community for the PC versions of NBA 2K. Check back soon for more details.

Our last poll asked for your opinion of NBA Live 10. 57% voted in favour of the game, with 32% calling it excellent. 17% were happy enough with the game to deem it average, while 26% expressed disappointment with this year's game.

NBA Player Takeover Blog @ EASports.com

A new In the Paint blog entry has been posted over at EASports.com, the first in a series of posts that will feature an NBA player currently turning heads in real life. The first entry spotlights Milwaukee Bucks rookie Brandon Jennings and includes a few screenshots of Jennings from NBA Live 10. The blog goes on to invite users to suggest players to be featured in future editions of NBA Player Takeover as well as submit any uploaded NBA Live 10 highlights featuring the nominated players.

A new blog talking about the first unlockable jerseys code for NBA Live 10 has been posted here over on EASports.com. It contains a few screenshots of the unlockable alternate jerseys and also mentions that we can expect to see new shoes and additional jerseys available as the 2009/2010 season progresses.

NCAA Basketball 10 Blog: Dynamic Updates

The latest NCAA Basketball 10 blog has revealed that Dynamic Updates will be featured in this year's game. Essentially their version of NBA Live 365, NCAA Basketball 10's Dynamic Updates will be released weekly using stats and streak data from ESPN.com. NBA Live 10 Jersey Unlock Codes

I'm a little late in posting this, but a code for the first batch of unlockable jerseys in NBA Live 10 has been revealed. The code currently appears as one of the Daily Messages while shooting around in The Hangar, for those who haven't jotted it down yet here it is:

ndnba1rooaesdc0

The code unlocks the new alternate jerseys for the Grizzlies, Rockets, Mavericks and Hawks. To enter it, select My NBA Live 10 from the main menu, then EA Sports Extras and finally NBA Codes.

Updated NCAA Basketball Demo Release Date

If you're an Xbox Live Silver subscriber or a Playstation 3 user, please be advised that this post on the official NCAA Basketball 10 website lists the release date for the demo as being November 12th; Xbox Live Gold subscribers have been able to download the demo since last week. Previously, the PS3 version of the demo was listed as being available from November 19th, an unusual date given the full version will be available November 18th.

NCAA Basketball 10 Achievement List

Xbox360Achievements.org have revealed the list of Achievements for NCAA Basketball 10, which you can check out here. There are twenty Achievements to be earned for a total score of 1000. I would assume that the same goals will exist as Trophies in the Playstation 3 version of the game.

NLSC Live Run & Online League Updates

We've restarted the official NLSC Online League for NBA Live 10 (Xbox 360) and as such, we're on the lookout for people to take control of the vacant teams. I've already sent out a few invites to people on my Friends list and on our Live Run Squad, please post your Gamertag in this thread if you'd like an invite. It is a public league however and you may freely join, running a search for NLSC should bring us up.

Likewise, we're still looking to recruit players for our Live Run squad and organise times to play some games. Check out this thread for more info and post your Gamertag if you're interested, or search for our squad using the keyword NLSC. Unfortunately I can't do anything with the Playstation 3 myself as I only have an Xbox 360 but if someone would like to help us out in running a league and squad for PS3 users, that would be most welcome.

NLSC Matchup: Bulls vs Clippers, Game 5

Joakim Noah had a second straight double double with 13 points and 11 rebounds, 5 of which were offensive, as the Bulls pull ahead in Game 5 of the Unlikely Finals. The Clippers really miss Blake Griffin at the power forward position. Baron "Brick" Davis is 12-45 from the field in the series.

NLSC Matchup: Bulls vs Clippers, Game 4

With the Clippers Blake Griffin injured, The Bulls capitalize with Derrick Rose and his 20 points to tie the series at 2 games apiece. Joakim Noah contributed a double double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. The Clippers were out-rebounded by the Bulls 30-11, and only shot 6 free throws compared to 17 for the Bulls.

Please be advised that the update is known to cause some issues, please see this thread for some details on the matter. A second update is expected to be released in the next few weeks, so feel free to keep posting issues in the bug report thread.
