- The Playoffs are bringing new content for NBA Live 15 and NBA 2K15, mostly for Ultimate Team and MyTEAM.
- We recap some recent releases in the NBA Live and NBA 2K patching community.
- Speaking of patching, we once again discuss the notion that 2K has done wrong by the modding community with NBA 2K15’s restrictions.
- Retro Basketball Video Game Talk is seemingly becoming a weekly segment. In the spotlight this week: Total NBA ’96 for the original PlayStation.
- Moving on to the 2015 NBA Playoffs, we recap and give our thoughts on all the action so far.
- Rajon Rondo certainly doesn’t appear likely to return to the Mavericks next year. We discuss where he might end up.
- The Houston Rockets fired their social media manager following a controversial Tweet. Fair or foul?
- Billy Donovan is close to replacing Scott Brooks as the Oklahoma City Thunder’s coach.

There is a blast from the passed, I had that on the ps1 and the case had a rubber basketball feel on the front of it.
I also had nba give and go for the Nintendo which I traded when I saw nba live 97 in the store.
It is a shame that the current games are harder to mod as that’s what this site has being about for years, I actually played more nba live 04-06 on the pc because the mods made the game look and feel so much better.

Absolutely, I’d love it if we could still do some of the awesome stuff we’ve become accustomed to doing with the games. Hopefully, that’ll be the case in the future, but in the meantime, we’ll keep expanding our other original content. Not that we’ll ever turn our backs on the modding community, but that element of basketball gaming caters to a niche market within a niche market. So, even though we’ll do everything we can to support and encourage modding, we also want to appeal to all basketball gamers, and offer them worthwhile content. Hopefully, we can do that in addition to bringing back some awesome mods!
In regards to the people that say that 2k doesn’t want us modding they seem to do ok hiring the people from theses forums that make the tools or rosters that make he game great, so I think hey do ok from the guys who mod
No doubt. If they wanted to shut down modding, they’d pay lawyers, not folks who got their start in the community.
