Vl@d Zola Jr. has finally released his much anticipated update for his roster editing tool RED MC which now allows for iff editing. iff files are what contain all the information for NBA 2K games, and while we have had very useful tools for years, RED MC provides a more consistent and flexible editing experience. Texture resolution restrictions are no longer an issues and the specific parts of each file can be manipulated to mash multiple arenas together, change the size of sound effects, or swap animations around easily.
As with the other roster editing licenses of RED MC, there is a pay-for license with iff editing. Of note, there is now a split in licenses, offering a 1 year expiring license or a lifetime licenses. It is also important to know that iff files saved with RED MC can not be edited with other iff editing tools or hex editing.
You can get the new version of RED MC from Vl@d’s official topic in the NBA 2K14 Releases Forum. I have created 6 tutorials for the update as well, which you can check out here or by hitting Read More.
