On a more positive note in the wake of the GameFace HD app being delayed, EA Sports have begun their ratings reveals for NBA Live 16. They’ve tipped things off by revealing the overall ratings for the top six point guards in the game; not surprisingly, NBA Live 16 cover player Russell Westbrook is among them (and not without good reason). The top six point guards are as follows:
- Chris Paul (95 overall)
- Russell Westbrook (94 overall)
- Stephen Curry (94 overall)
- Kyrie Irving (90 overall)
- John Wall (90 overall)
- Damian Lillard (90 overall)
In addition to the overall ratings, a few specific ratings have been revealed for those six players. EA also posted a few new screenshots; you can check those out below, as well as in our NBA Live 16 screenshots gallery.
Presumably, there’ll be a few more ratings reveals coming our way before the NBA Live 16 demo drops on September 15th. Speaking of player ratings, we’ll be maintaining a thread in the Forum once again this year, to provide EA with feedback on the roster updates.
In the meantime, feel free to share your opinions on the first ratings reveal in the comments section below, as well as take the discussion to the NBA Live 16 section of the NLSC Forum!
I don’t know if Lillard is a top six point guard. I think John Wall is better than Irving and Lillard.
It’s much of a muchness when it comes to overall ratings. Athleticism and dunking ratings often boost an overall a little more than they should, so some players’ overall ratings aren’t ideal. I think it’s at a point where Lillard is in the conversation as one of the best point guards in the league right now, so it’s not unwarranted in my opinion.
I always watch Flight’s nba live videos on youtube but the kid blasts EA for having John Wall as a high rated pg stating that he shouldn’t be because “he has being injured so much”
Then rants that Derrick Rose isn’t in the top five lol
Yeah, I’d have to respectfully disagree with Flight there. Wall’s actually been healthy the last couple of years. Rose…well, he did play out last season after missing a few weeks following clean-up surgery, so there’s that. Sadly, he’s not in the conversation at this time, and it remains to be seen how close he comes to being in the discussion again.
