Update on NBA Live 14’s Rosters; Feedback Wanted

NBA Live 14: Patch - Basketball at the Rim

A couple of weeks ago, I went through NBA Live 14’s┬árosters and updated our checklist of missing players and incorrect jersey numbers, as of April 15th. Since then, we’ve been joined in the NLSC Forum by NBA Live associate producer Fernando, who is in charge of the rosters for NBA Live 14. Fernando has indicated that he has taken care of the discrepancies that I listed, along with a few others that he’s been keeping tabs on.

Fernando also indicated that some unfortunate technical issues have delayed the rosters by a few weeks, but as soon as those are resolved, new rosters will be coming through with all of the necessary corrections. In the meantime, we’ve been invited to give further feedback on any roster errors that we encounter, so if you come across any missing transactions, lineup errors, incorrect jersey numbers or accessories in need of an update, be sure to post about it in this thread.

I have only one question and it is kinda rhetorical: do these game designers, or whatever they called themselves, ever, ever watch real basketball?! Or this is only a job for them like any other and they hate it as much as people hate their jobs no matter what they do.

On the other hand can you imagine what would a person with solid knowledge of basketball, excellent game designing skills and the EA or 2K technology be able to do?? I guess it makes sense, those will never work with corporations. Well, we have to live with what we have…
