The NBA has announced the roster pool for the 2013 BBVA Rising Stars Challenge, which will be taking place on February 15th 2013 in Houston, Texas. Once again, rookies and sophomores will be mixed together, with Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal serving as general managers for the event and selecting players from the roster pool for their respective teams. For the first time, fans will also get to vote for the starters in the game.
This year’s participants are Harrison Barnes, Bradley Beal, Anthony Davis, Andre Drummond, Kenneth Faried, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, last year’s Rising Stars MVP Kyrie Irving, Brandon Knight, Kawhi Leonard, Damian Lillard, Chandler Parsons, Alexey Shved, Klay Thompson, Tristan Thompson, Nikola Vucevic, Dion Waiters, Kember Walker and Tyler Zeller.
