NLSC Podcast Episode #144 Mailbag Call

NLSC Podcast

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, Arcane and I should be recording and releasing Episode #144 of the NLSC Podcast at the regular time tomorrow. As such, this is a final call for any and all topic suggestions and mailbag questions, to be added to the docket for this week’s show.

Needless to say, we’ll be talking about the NBA 2K16 Road To The Finals tournament, recent NBA news and results, and other noteworthy events from the past week. However, if there’s a specific topic you’d like to hear us talk about, related to our core content of basketball video games (primarily NBA Live, NBA 2K, and NBA Jam), our community, or the real NBA, be sure to hit us up ASAP! We’ll consider any and all suggestions you send our way, and you can certainly send in more than one suggestion. If we end up with too many, we’ll simply hold some over for next week’s show.

To submit your topic ideas or mailbag questions, post them in the comments section below, or in this thread in the NLSC Forum. You can also hit us up on our Facebook and Twitter pages; be sure to connect with us there if you haven’t already!

As always, a huge thanks to everyone who continues to send in topic suggestions, and tune in to the NLSC Podcast every week. We really enjoy doing the shows and providing you with some weekly discussion in audio format, and greatly appreciate all the support. If you haven’t caught Episode #143 of the NLSC Podcast yet, you can tune in here. Don’t forget that you can subscribe to us on iTunes, and you can also find us on Stitcher if you’d like to tune in on the go.

NLSC Podcast Episode #143 Mailbag Call; Later Episode This Week

NLSC Podcast

Since Arcane is currently travelling home, we’ll be recording and releasing Episode #143 of the NLSC Podcast a little later than usual. Instead of going up in about 12 hours from this post, it’ll likely be up Friday evening or Saturday morning, depending on whereabouts you are in the world.

That means there’s still time to get a couple more topic suggestions and mailbag questions into this week’s episode. So, if there’s something you’d like to hear us talk about, please let us know ASAP, whether it’s in the form of a question or simply a suggestion of a topic you’re interested in. We’ve got a fairly full docket to fill an hour or so already, so if we get too many suggestions – not a bad problem to have, of course! – we might hold a couple over until Episode #144.

As always, while we’ll consider any and all suggestions you send our way, we do ask that you try to keep them within the scope of our content: basketball video games (primarily NBA Live, NBA 2K, and NBA Jam) and the real NBA. Hit us up with any suggestions in this thread in the NLSC Hub, or get in touch with us via our Facebook or Twitter.

If you haven’t caught Episode #142 of the NLSC Podcast yet, be sure to tune in here. Don’t forget that you can also catch us on iTunes, and if you’d like to listen to us on the go, we’re also on Stitcher; just download the app and search NLSC Podcast, and you’ll find us. Thanks to everyone who continues to tune in every week, give us feedback on the show, and send in topic suggestions. We greatly appreciate it!

NLSC Podcast Episode #142 Mailbag Call

NLSC Podcast

Arcane and I will be recording Episode #142 of the NLSC Podcast tomorrow, so as usual, I wanted to put out one last call for any topic suggestions and mailbag questions for this week’s episode. We want to make sure that we’re discussing the topics that interest you, our listeners and fellow enthusiastic basketball gamers.

Once again, while we’ll at least consider any and all suggestions, we do ask that you keep them related to our core content. That means topics about basketball video games (primarily NBA Live and NBA 2K, though we obviously do branch out into NBA Street, NBA Jam, and other titles from time to time), real basketball (primarily the NBA), and other related interests.

Having said that…do you have any suggestions, either in the form of a question, or simply a topic that you’d like us to talk about? If so, hit us up in the comments below, or in this thread in the Forum. Alternatively, you can submit them via our Facebook or Twitter.

Please get your suggestions in ASAP! If you haven’t caught last week’s episode of the NLSC Podcast yet, you can tune in here. As always, a huge thanks to our regular listeners who have been submitting topics, and a warm welcome to our new listeners who have recently tuned in. We greatly appreciate the support!

NLSC Podcast Episode #141 Mailbag Call

NLSC Podcast

Arcane and I are set to record Episode #141 of the NLSC Podcast tomorrow, and once again, we’re after your topic suggestions and mailbag questions. Let us know what you’d like us to discuss on this week’s show – whether it’s in the form of a question, or just a subject that interests you – and we’ll add it to the docket.

As usual, while we will consider any and all suggestions, we do ask that you keep them related to our core content: basketball video games (in particular NBA Live and NBA 2K), basketball, and the NBA. We don’t mind branching out into other topics from time to time when they’re relevant to our community, but we do prefer to mostly stick to stuff that’s along the lines of our coverage, and related interests.

How can you submit your suggestions? Post them in the comments below, or over in this thread in the NLSC Forum. On social media, you can hit us up on our Facebook page, as well as Twitter.

Post your suggestions ASAP, and feel free to hit us up each and every week with your feedback. If you haven’t caught Episode #140 of the NLSC Podcast yet, tune in here. My apologies for some of the audio issues in last week’s show, we’ve received some helpful feedback on that and will do our best to improve the quality of the NLSC Podcast in future episodes. As always, a huge thanks to our regular listeners for tuning in!

NLSC Podcast Returns January 7th; Suggest Topics!

NLSC Podcast

As Arcane and I mentioned in Episode #139 of the NLSC Podcast, we decided to take a couple of weeks off over the holiday break, and make that show our 2015 finale. We’re planning to get right back to our digital broadcasting duties in the new year however, and currently expect to be back on the air on the first Thursday of 2016, January 7th.

There have obviously been a couple of developments in basketball gaming and the NBA since Episode #139, which we’ll naturally be discussing in Episode #140. However, we also wanted to encourage our regular listeners – and our newer listeners, too! – to submit some additional topic suggestions for the next episode, and future episodes of the NLSC Podcast. Whether you simply want to suggest a topic, or pose a topic to us in the form of a question, we’re eager to hear your suggestions so that we can discuss the things that you want to hear about.

Suggestions are welcome in the comments section below, as well as this thread in the NLSC Forum. You can also hit us up on Facebook or Twitter. We’ll certainly give consideration to any and all suggestions, though we do ask that you keep them within the scope of our coverage: NBA Live, NBA 2K, and basketball video games, as well as the real NBA and basketball in general. While we do branch out occasionally and make mention of other topics, we’d prefer to keep the NLSC Podcast in step with the rest of our content.

Once again, I’d like to thank everyone who tuned in to the NLSC Podcast throughout 2015. We’ve been getting some very encouraging feedback in recent weeks, so we’d like to up our interaction with our listeners with community suggested topics and more “listener mailbag” type segments. So, tell us what you think of the shows, and what you’d like us to talk about! As with all of our content, we’re by basketball gamers, for basketball gamers, so be sure to drop us a line, and tune in for Episode #140 on January 7th.

NLSC Podcast & The Friday Five Return Next Week

NLSC Logo

As you may have noticed, Arcane and I haven’t posted an episode of the NLSC Podcast for the past couple of weeks. Since a few of our listeners have asked when the next episode will be, I thought I’d post a bulletin letting everyone know that Episode #125 – another catch-up show, with all the news that’s come out in the past fortnight – will be out next Wednesday.

The main reason we haven’t recorded new shows in the past couple of weeks is that we’ve both been a bit under the weather lately (it’s Winter here in Australia, after all) and in particular, I’ve been trying to shake a nagging cough that I picked up on the plane trip home from Orlando. As you can imagine, that kind of gets in the way of recording an audio show!

Similarly, between illness, my day job, and other NLSC projects duties – including a late night covering the LIVE Pro-Am announcement and polishing up my impressions article – I’m feeling especially run down this week, and haven’t had time to write The Friday Five. So, as much as I hate missing deadlines and skipping weeks, I’m going to have to miss posting a new edition of the Five today.

In lieu of a new show and column this week, I’d like to open up the floor for any topic suggestions for Arcane and I to discuss in future Podcasts (beginning with next week’s episode), as well as anything you’d like to see me write about, or compile a Top 5 countdown for, in The Friday Five. Hit me up in the comments below or in the NLSC Forum, and I’ll make a note of any and all suggestions.

My apologies to everyone who regularly tunes in to the Podcast and reads the Five. I’m eager to deliver that content to you on a regular basis, and I really appreciate everyone’s support and interest in those features. Thanks for your understanding, and I hope you’ll tune in, and check in, next week!

Recording Episode #119 of the NLSC Podcast; Last Call for Topics

NLSC Podcast

We’ll be recording Episode #119 of the NLSC Podcast in a little under twelve hours, so we’re putting out a last call for any topic suggestions for this week’s show. Needless to say, we’ll be discussing the NBA 2K16 information revealed in last week’s episode of NBA 2KTV, Tom Thibodeau’s firing, a few other recent NBA news items, and a couple of basketball gaming related topics that are on our minds, but if there’s anything else you’d like to hear us talk about, please let us know ASAP.

If you do have any suggestions, feel free to leave them in the comments section below, in this thread in the Forum, or hit us up on Facebook or Twitter, as we’ll be checking for them right up until we start recording. Once again, we’ve been getting some great suggestions and feedback these past few weeks, so please keep it coming! We very much appreciate it, and are glad to know that people are enjoying tuning in to the NLSC Podcast every week.

Additionally, we’re looking to introduce some new original content here on the NLSC in the near future, and will be looking to reorganise our schedule. As such, if you have any preference as to when you’d like the NLSC Podcast to come out each week, please let us know, and we’ll take all suggestions into consideration. As always, thanks for your support of the NLSC, and the NLSC Podcast!

NLSC Podcast Episode #118 Topic Suggestions: Last Call

NLSC Podcast Logo

This is a last call for any and all topic suggestions for Episode #118 of the NLSC Podcast, which Arcane and I will be recording in about 12 hours time. We’ve had some great suggestions the past couple of weeks, and although we do have some news and topics of interest to talk about in Episode #118, we’re still keen to get a few more ideas for this week’s show, as well as future episodes of the NLSC Podcast.

If you have any suggestions, feel free to post them in the comments section below, this thread in the Forum, or hit us up on Facebook or Twitter. We’re also looking to post segments from each week’s show over on our YouTube channel to spotlight certain discussions, and give everyone a taste of what they can expect from the NLSC Podcast. Check out a snippet from last week’s show, in which we paid tribute to the retiring David Letterman!

If you haven’t caught Episode #117 of the NLSC Podcast yet, check it out here. Thanks again for all the feedback and topic suggestions so far, and please keep them coming!

NLSC Podcast: Last Call for Episode #117 Topics

NLSC Podcast Logo

Arcane and I will be recording Episode #117 of the NLSC Podcast in about twelve hours, so this is a final call for any topic suggestions/mailbag questions. Last week we got some great suggestions and had a lot of fun talking about the stuff that you wanted to hear us talk about, so if there’s anything you’d like us to discuss this week, please let us know ASAP!

Please keep in mind that topics such as the NBA Draft Lottery and ongoing NBA Playoffs are a given, along with any major basketball video game news from the past week. We’d also like to keep topics related to our content – basketball video games and real basketball, primarily the NBA – and avoid covering the same topics each week as much as possible, though there will of course be some overlap and recurring segments.

Having said that, if you have any specific suggestions, let’s hear them! Feel free to post them in the comments section below, in this Forum thread, or hit us up on our Facebook or Twitter. Thanks as always to everyone who tunes into the NLSC Podcast on a regular basis, Episode #117 is coming your way very soon.

NLSC Podcast Episode #116 This Week; Topic Suggestions Wanted

NLSC Podcast Logo

Unfortunately Arcane was a little under the weather last week, so we weren’t able to record a new episode of the NLSC Podcast. However, we anticipate getting together to record a new episode within the next couple of days, so you can expect Episode #116 to be out this week.

Naturally, we have a few things in mind to talk about, including the tidbits on NBA 2K16 in the most recent episode of 2KTV, and of course the latest results from the 2015 NBA Playoffs, but we’d also like to invite our listeners to submit some topic suggestions and mailbag questions. As I’ve said before, we want to make sure that we’re putting out an enjoyable show and not only talking about the stuff that interests us, but the stuff that you want to hear about, too.

So, feel free to post your suggestions in the comments section below, as well as in this thread in the NLSC Hub! You can also hit us up on Facebook or Twitter, if you’re active on those social media platforms.
