NBA 2K13 Xbox 360 Updated Rosters?

I bought 2K13 for Xbox 360 for a friend, and he wants to download updated rosters.

The servers are down, is there another way to get them for the 360?

I don't know a lot about it, but as far as I know it's possible to download shared files, "re-hash" them using an appropriate program so that they're usable by his account/Gamertag, and then copy them to the Xbox 360 and fire the rosters up in game. I think the main problem is sourcing working links, at least for some specific things like final official rosters.

It'd be great if we could track those down though, especially for NBA 2K12 which is stuck with pre-lockout final 2011 season rosters at this point, if you didn't download the latest rosters while the servers were still up. Not a problem for those of us on PC because we were keeping track of the official updates and archiving them in our Downloads section, but obviously harder on console, and working links are tough to find.
