I want to provide screen shots of 2K18 assets so you guys can convert and create for 2K14
I really want to convert over, but there's so much about 2K18 that bothers me, specifically when it come to art. The differentiation of body types and muscle tone baffles me, especially in this year of 2017. The accessories, though they look very detailed and accurate, they make the game look so ugly because they clip all over the place, which is such an eye sore with a 4K or 1080p display. Again, it's 2017 and they still have no hair physics, other than certain cut scenes with the cheerleaders (which Live has had since Live 2006). You still can't toggle headbands on/off (REALLY 2K). I've tried to get in contact with their art director Joel Friesch, but that's been unsuccessful. I actually reached out Mike Wang and said PLEASE go back to separating the 3D model head from the bodies. If I made a basketball game from scratch, I could scan at least 8 different body types, along with being able to actually toggle on/off muscle definition and have a game that looks way better than what we're seeing from them.
Don't get me wrong, NBA 2K18 looks and plays well, but from a tech standpoint, their cloth physics need major improvement, their hair tech really needs a huge overhaul (to which Live had better on a last-gen system), and their player models and accessories need to be tightened up significantly.
