2K20 to 2K17 Conversion [SUCCESSFUL]

I was able to convert 2K20 Cyberfaces to 2K17 using the 2K18 to 2K17 Method by The Goods and also Mesh Data transfer also by him. The method on transferring the headbands and other parts of the face is from Trevor's Video
For the Hair and Beard I used the Hair Add/Swap tool by Trevor
The only problem will be the beard is not moving with the mouth I dunno if to fix that we have to look at the hihead file or thru Blender. If anyone knows how to make beard move with the mouth please let me know. So a 19-20 roster is Possible. I can also do updated Jerseys. Please if anyone can Help to make updated Roster for 2K17 please comment down.

Perhaps you should check Kevin Durant 2K17 face, hes got external hair face and it moves with the mouth.
i dont have another answer, and hope it's possible, but im not sure because in the other way when you convert 2K17 face to 2K20, the mouth doesnt move.

Dee4Three, Yes Sir, we'll still have to fix the Facial hair and make it move with the mouth.

Still no luck on syncing the Beard on the mouth movement. Picture Below is how it'll look like with unsync beard.






To confirm that the method is possible I converted 2 additional CF to check if it'll just be fine turns out it did. Just few minor adjustment because of the Body bleeding on jerseys and beard of course can't forget that.

for the beard, you could try something
import face from 2K20 to 2K17 with mesh data transfert
import beard from 2K20 to 2K17 with mesh data transfert too
the target png could be KD or whatever png with external beard in 2K17

sticky-fingers, Sir, is external beard in KD's png file? I looked to it and only saw hihead.SCNE to hihead_5.SCNE files is it inside those SCNE files sir?

I have conversions working 100%, but I have ONE issue. This is literally the only real issue.

Take a look at the Kevin Garnett I converted from 2K20. Conversion came out perfect, body fits in the jersey, I have the eyes centered and looking good (No issues in game). BUT, a black line shows on the back of Garnetts head when the camera view is zoomed out in instant replay, and during cutscenes during the game.

During regular gameplay, and when you zoom into it, the black line is gone. The LODS have been removed from the PNG file, and the hihead file has no trace of the LODS. I have no idea how to get rid of this line. Any ideas?

Dee4Three, Sir Dee maybe the issue is in the faceXXXX.iff? I mean maybe the detail_normal or normal DDS files

As far as the hair goes... sometimes it comes over poorly (especially with cornrows/braids). I've had some 3D hair come out great, like with Cancar, Dean Wade, etc

You could always look for a 2k17 hairstyle and use that instead, another modder on this forum was doing that.
