I created a roster in 18 and I lost everything, luckily I recorded footage so I could put something together but I was pissed. I had a lot of mixed squads too.

I've decided to uninstall nba live 19 and reinstall again hopefully it will allow me to work on the roster again without bugs in creating players.

I don't understand why it's doing it as the first PS4 and copy of nba live 19 I installed in 2018 I was able to add over 100 players and never ran into the errors I did so fingers crossed it was down to a bad download or something

I admire your patience with it. I just can't touch NBA Live 19 after all the updates, let alone work on rosters that may be corrupted or disappear.

It comes back to the "is there anything else" theory.

Sure I have 2k20 installed but they skating players, lack of defense and poor cpu AI I feel like trying this just one more time.

I think and know it's a broken game but if it works out I'd be happy to just have a second option

That's fair. All things considered, I've preferred NBA 2K19 and NBA 2K20 despite their issues. NBA 2K21 has me missing NBA 2K20.

Well a quick update, after reinstalling the game and loading up my roster only Matisse Thubulle remained as a bald headed random so I've just decided to delete him all together, sorry Matisse.

Also everytime I made game saves his age would reduce by one year so he was currently 4 years old.

The only problem is that all the created players ages are about 16-20 years old right now.

Iam going to proceed

Cheers mate I think iam gonna need it and yeah I get it. I think iam probably going to lay live to rest some time soon and play more 2k20 from what I've heard 2k21 just isn't worth getting yet even if I could.

Well after a few test samples on a fresh copy of the game and new roster, created players still decrease by a year in age after each save I make to the roster so I have decided to just do one (or two ) created players per team in some cases like the Hawks I had to do both Hunter and Reddish because they both play big minutes but in the way of other teams like the Cavs with Garland iam not making him due to he barley played all year and was lackluster at best, same with Tacko Fall, I even decided to pass on Kendrick Nunn in favour of Duncan Robinson and Herro.

Edit. Even as iam writing this I've just thought what if I make all the new player have 5 years experience making them 26 would give me many more saves available.

Matisse Thubulle was 4 years old when the game started to crash so maybe that's the errors? who knows.

Does it happen every time you add a new player, save, and then add another one (say after reloading the roster), or even when you just edit and save the roster? If it's only when you save after adding a new player, maybe you could just add all the players you need in one go with default attributes, save, and then go back and edit them accordingly.

Of course if it's happening with every save, there's probably not much of a workaround.

Yeah mate it appears that after every roster save I make the created players all decrease one year in age. So normally I will do a few hours roster editing then save, so far I created 14 players and put the rosters in order in one save but like I said may go back in and make all the rookies 25 years old to give me some more saves available for the up and coming draft

I really hope when NBA Live relaunches on the next generation, it has the basics down. Obviously it needs to look good and play well, but if its franchise mode and roster editing aren't at least on the level of an NBA Live 08-10, it's going to feel a bit hollow.
