need help with corrupted save

So i'm on day 3 of trying to figure out what the hell is wrong with my game. Everything else other than myleague works, which is why i'm pretty sure it's something to do with corrupted save files. Like the moment i try to select myleague in the menu it just crashes to desktop. Anyone else had this issue, and had luck resolving it?

verify your game files in steam and see if that works.

i did, everything was fine. Reinstalled the game, updated all my drivers, nothing worked...

well yeah, a lot of them but i haven't installed anything new and it stopped working in the meantime
