I would like to help because all my shoe mods are from 2k17 but I have comepletely forgotten how to mod shoes.

I ve been going thru shoe_global and i think 7203 is the shoe id for WOW 6, but i cant find files marked as 7201 and that was shoe id for WOW5 in 2k18. They may be gone and whats left are those 3d model, just like with those nikes

yep those shoes appear to be in the game files still but I think their shoe_style file is missing
Below confirms the 3D models are still in, I believe the shoe textures are in also.

I see the original crazy explosives are still in the files also
We really need to figure out how to add show slots so we can make all shoes that are hidden appear along with newly created shoes.
Can i bring them back replacing a 2k20 shoes??

Back in 2K17 I figured out that I could make hidden shoes replace the generic 2K shoes in the shoe menu by simply renaming the shoe_fe_X.iff, shoe_ng_X.iff, and most importantly the shoe_style_x.iff.
If you replace the "x" with a "0" the shoes will replace the generic shoes. I still had the Yeezy files from my 2K17 mods (which are in the download section on NLSC) and just put them all in the waigua>shoes folder

then in game I assigned the 2k generic shoe as a colorway and they show correctly
TGsoGood wrote:Can i bring them back replacing a 2k20 shoes??
yes but you will need the original shoe_style_x.iff, shoe_fe_x.iff, and shoe_ng_x.iff files from the old game.
The only thing about the yeezy is that it was never an editable shoe so the shoe texture displays only one colorway.
Editable shoes may still show up as all white, until we figure out what is going on.

TGsoGood wrote:Everything I find will be released or you could just go find the files in the 2K17 download section and place them all in the waigua>shoes folder like mentioned in one of the previous posts
TGsoGood wrote::idea: Just confirmed that the shoe_global.iff is responsible for all the shoe previews in the in game shoe menu
I removed all shoes from the shoe global except the Shoe_509 files which are the Jordan X and as you can see, only Jordan X shows up.
Now I need to try to add missing files like 7201. The downside is everytime I change the shoe_global.iff, the game needs to restart to see the changes.
Edit:
Actually now all players are wearing generic shoes since I removed all the shoes from shoe global.
