Has anybody here got the Studio intro and half time show music to work? I tried so many times with no success. I was able to do it in NBA 2l19 easy but 2k20 is a whole different beast

What we might need is a file explorer that directly allows us to replace audio files and apply changes. I tried using the NBA2K17 file explorer, but the new archives have not been added, so you cannot access those files.

Has anyone figured out which files in newaudio\eventmusic are used for the starting lineups? Its taking me ages to listen to each individual file since VLC suddenly doesn't want to let me play the .wav so I need to use audacity for that. Really hoping to be able to use Sirius for the Bulls intros.

same thing happened here. what the problem was for me was, when i tried to open the converter via my desktop shortcut, all conversions failed.
for some reason when i opened the converter from the file location (in 2k folder) it worked then.

Any suggestions for troubleshooting?

yes, i had the same problem.

just remove ".wav" from the end of the wav files in the jukeboxmusic folder so that it's just numbers.
this will likely resolve the issue.

I have all 3,880 "eventmusic" files in a folder on my desktop. I have listened to a handful of them and and found arena specific cheers and music. However, I am beginning to think that it is unorganized and the file names (i.e. 000025-000000-000000-000000-000000-000000.wav) are irrelevant to specific teams. They are just numbers for the file and the game itself knows what to play, and when to play it (Duh lol). In other words..... This is going to take awhile. The jukebox music is easy to find because there are only what 30 songs? With the arena sounds there are 3 THOUSAND+ files to go through. But yes, I have all eventmusic files in mp3 format and playing. I found Lakers organs, and "Go Rockets Go!" cheers etc.

Please tell me how to do this. I have been searching tirelessly to find some sort of answer for this.

So I was able to put in up to about 30 songs from first time using this and I wanted to add more using literally the same process but now songs I had previously play on different songs or it plays song that I turned off from the original 2K soundtrack. Any help???

I haven't completed all 75 songs, but my list works with this program.

Is there any way I can change the song title and thes artist in the game?

Have any of you been able to figure out how to get custom arena sounds or custom PA announcements to play in-game? I’ve been able to do it in 2K19, but I’m just not sure if it can be done in 2K20. If anyone has it figured out, could you please share what you did with us?

Can this still work for 2k21? I think it uses a Mods folder instead of waigua and if it does, how do I do it?

EDIT: And how do I convert mp3? I did as instructed but the wav files are always corrupted and are silent. The length of the songs also seem to be cut to around a minute long as well. I tried to run it as an admin but I had to manually type the file/folder destination and the converted files are still corrupted.

Could you explain how you were able to edit the eventmusic for NBA 2k19? Any direction is appreciated. Thanks

The process is slightly different for 2K19 when compared to 2K20, but first, you’ll need to download the NBA2k17 file explorer.
NBA 2K17 Explorer

Once you’ve got that open, you must go to the preferences tab, and there you can select which archives to open. I think the sounds are in the 3I or 2C archives, but I’m not really sure, so play around with it and see which one has the music files in it. You’ll know if the file has “jukeboxmusic” or “eventmusic” in the name. After, you’d extract the sounds to Audacity by right clicking on a file on the list and selecting “Export Archive.” Once you’ve put them in Audacity and you’ve found the file you want to replace, then copy the original filename. Put in whatever new sound or music file that you want into Audacity, and change the project rate to 48000 hZ. Be sure to export it as an .ogg file. Rename it by pasting the original filename, and endIng it in .wav (that’s because the original said .wav) Once you’ve exported that, go back to File Explorer, right click on the file that you want to replace, and click “Import Archive“ to select the new audio file, and select “Apply Changes” in the top left corner. Just sit back for a few minutes, and you’re done!

I know this may sound confusing due to the number of steps. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the explanation. I will it a try. Does anyone know if eventmusic can be replaced using waguia folder like we can with the jukebox music?

Agreed.

The Google Drive link says that the converter is infected with a virus and only the author can download it.

EDIT: Found a new link for the converter here after posting:
