It is admittedly a cool detail that should be a part of the games, and one that wasn't possible a few generations back. It's funny how it's still the go-to "next gen detail" though, considering it isn't exactly new or groundbreaking.

Personally, I'm more impressed with the rim interactions and net movements. They're looking a lot better.

same with skin textures, that's something they had to focus on

Yea I'm praying for next gen release on PC. I think with the 2K League being on PC, they will release next gen on PC.

Guys, compared to the past, 2ks, the dunk looks really good in terms of the hand to rim interaction. No more dunking with the wrist as the hand awkwardly floats without touching rim. Compare to this dunk in 2k20 trailer
https://youtu.be/FQ7WBnSvjIo?t=65

Also, Zions knock knee gait. Nice. Only issue is it still kinda looks like he floated instead of pushing off the ground.

I really do like the rim interaction. Funnily enough, that's one area where NBA Live has been better than NBA 2K over the past generation, though it's obviously a small detail when there are so many other issues with NBA Live right now. In any case, that improvement is promising to see here.

I have a PS4. So I would have to buy PS5 to play NBA 2K21, that is not fair :(:(:(.

To expand on that, there'll be a PS4, X1, Switch, and Google Stadia version. That version will also be ported to PC, and comes out in September. The PS5 and XSX release will be a different game (though obviously with some familiar features and branding), and will launch with the consoles during the 2020 Holiday Season.
