I've noticed the CPU is freakishly adept at that.

Did gameplay change in 1.07 ? Just felt player movement got a bit worse again lol and that cpu scores easier in my paint. Could just be my matchup

It's possible tweaks were made, either through the patch or one of the recent in-game updates (the "Update Required" ones). There weren't any official patch notes, only the confirmed cosmetic changes compiled over on the official subreddit.

This is one thing that 2k does alot and without saying and drives slider creators crazy.

You get a slider set just right and then 2k patch comes through and in the patch notes (if any) they just say "Gameplay update"....

So you have to figure things out for yourself and tweak the sliders again.

Pretty much. Although anytime you see that Updated Required notice, there's a possibility a tuning tweak will come through along with new rosters and other such updated data.

For some time now I've felt like the gameplay updates are made more aimed at the career and online modes but somehow make the offline play worst.

At Christmas I was enjoying the gameplay but not so much now as the CPU AI will not come help when a player blows buy at the 3 point line and have a clear path to basket.

It's actually just as frustrating as the offensive or defensive player.

One thing I do love about nba live been basic is that the sliders made the game feel like a classic 04-06 type where it was competitive but also fun... I actually think 2k has overcomplicated the sliders dare I say it lol but also EA didn't make too many changes to the gameplay during the season, sometimes it took them a little bit too long to change things like steals and blocking overload but I still like there approach to keeping it feel original.

Hopefully we will have nba live 22 this autumn.

Focus on the online scene has definitely negatively impacted tuning for offline play throughout the years.

How and where would I get the latest Sync . bin file? I'm having a problem with Danilo Gallinari being invisible in game. It's effecting all rosters I happen to download.

If you delete/move/rename it, the game should re-create it and download all of the necessary updates again.

Can anyone tell me did they update the MyLeague? Do you still start a fictional season with players contracts moved up a year or is it normal now that the real season started? Does Start Today feature even work?

I play ML 99% of the time so don't want to buy the game if this is not functional. Thank you

Rosters are updated now, but they haven't implemented the real season schedule; it's the placeholder 82-game one.

Start Today isn't functional. They did mention they hoped to get it up and running once the season tipped off, but when Brian Mazique followed up with them a few weeks ago, they confirmed that it likely wouldn't be happening after all due to an inability to implement the schedule properly.

Still no City courts for some teams, and also they should take a look at Warriors court. Players look like floating on the yellow paint area insife the free throw lane due to lack of shadows/reflections. Is it hard to revise those? This is why I miss the PC version of this game.

I'm guessing they can, but unfortunately Current Gen is undeniably a lower priority at this juncture.

I'm getting a extremely long update presently on PC. Is this patch 1.09? Taking about 25-30 minutes to download. What the hell is in it? Gameplay improvements I hope.

Patch 1.09 refers to the update that comes through via the Steam client, which from the looks of things has now come through. The in-game updates are separate to those patches. No gameplay fixes are mentioned in the notes for 1.09, and that won't be any different on PC. We never get any details on the in-game updates as they come through, but they're generally roster/art updates. Sometimes there are tuning/gameplay updates in there as well, but none have been mentioned recently. I'm guessing it's mostly All-Star Weekend stuff for the in-game updates, and the aforementioned changes in Patch 1.09.

Has anyone's manifest file disappear after the update (1.11) today?

Unless its been moved it's definitely not in my game directory anymore
