PC version : Joystick Xbox360 or Xbox One

Postby senhorxxx on Sun Jul 10, 2022 6:44 am

Hello everybody

Last NBA game I played was NBA 2K14.

I have a question :

Regarding the movement of players in the game, in these newer NBA2Ks (NBA 2K15 to NBA 2K22), there could be some difference between using an Xbox360 joystick or an XboxOne joystick ??

Am I missing something?

I play on PC and I still use an XBOX360 joystick.

I'd say the only difference is in what you prefer. It shouldn't affect the game otherwise.

Thank you Andrew.

I was playing NBA2K20 more specifically.
I found the movement a little weird, as well as the use of the turbo, and the collisions of the players inside the arc of the 3pts line unreal.
A few years ago I played NBA2K17 a little, at first glance it seemed better than this 2K20 (which I chose because it has a lot of roster mods, I have the NBA from 2K11 to 2K21 on steam).
I'll give 2K20 one more chance, though more likely to go back to 2k14 with the UBR mod.
I think the heyday of the game was from 2K09 to 2K14.

That'd be down the engine/motion system rather than the controller. It's definitely different in newer games, and unfortunately not necessarily better.
