Below info was gathered from one of my older threads
Files in the 'shoes' folder
shoe_ed_1371.iff = the layers to edit the DLillard1 shoe
Shoe_fe_2022.iff = thumbnail picture of drose7 used in the shoe selection menu
shoe_ng_1001.iff = hyperdunk2008 file for normal map, Physics texture (colorway map for team colors?), and exclusive colorway textures
shoe_sm_0.iff = the color map for the twokgeneric shoe (team color version)
shoe_style_0.iff = style/ model info for twokgeneric shoe
Files in the 'full' folder inside of the 'clothing' folder
clothing_resource_shoes_tmac3_geo.iff = the 3d model of the tmac 3 shoe used in game ( has multiple models, in game switches to lower res model likely to save memory or processing demand)

I just needed this info as part of my effort to add more shoe slots in NBA 2K23. Adding it here since there is a nice bit of information listed here that still applies to the game structure for shoes.
