I'm still running XP so I don't have any first hand experience of problems running NBA Live 07 under Windows 7.

I tried running NBA Live 07 on Windows 7.. and it kept crashing whenever I tried to quit a game I'd just finished playing..

making it impossible to play a dynasty.. unless anyone around here knows a work-around to that

A few months back I tried out NBA Live 06 on a Release Candidate version of Windows 7 and it worked without any problems.

all of them should work fine

people having issues i think are missing a video card driver or something
Opinions are my own.

can you show a screenshot?

are you using a 3d analyzer program?

can you try reinstalling off the disc?

did you try installing the official patch?

hey Andrew, JoaSming, I've been have issues with live 07 on Windows 7 Home Premium 64- Bit.

I have tried the following: updated driver, installed CD in Safe mode, installed EA official Patch in Safe Mode, restarted, ran game as administrator and in compatibility mode. Then i have loaded my dynasty(s) and ran through a game. the "quit game bug" which, occurs when you click on the quit game option after a dynasty game, after which pc screen goes black and then kicks back to the desktop with a Windows box running as it says it's looking for a solution for the error(this never finds a solution)

ONce i have cleanly installed live 07' this "quit bug" glitch seems to occur within the 1st three games played in the dynasty at which time any time i try to leave the Live 07 game it errors out.

With my experience with this (last 2 months) I believe it's a graphics/resolution issue, however i have not figured out how to fix it (i have also experimented with changing my pc's resolution and then starting the game, but this doesn't seem to have an effect on it.) Something good to know, the game is centered and minimized on the screen, instead of taking up the entire screen, it goes black with a centered being played in the center

Outside of the reinstall/install in safe mode suggestion i have not heard of anything that can help with this situation. I just purchased Live 06 with the hopes of using a 97/98 rosters to play a dynasty, I would gladly abandon it IF I could find a solution for this issue. Any trouble shooting suggestions are appreciated.

I am having the same issues.. except for the centered thing..

The fix around to full screen programs might be with your graphics accelerator.. Try finding the graphics properties icon on your system tray, mine is labeled "Intel Graphics Media Accelerator." Right click this and go to graphics options, from there go to panel fit and set it to scale full screen.

Seems to be that it only crashes when I play games in dynasty mode.. haven't tried out season/playoffs yet. But exhibition games work fine and I can exit out of them easily.

I am starting to think that the quit game crash is a resolution issue.. The menus are a different resolution than the one you have while in a game, right?

Maybe the game has trouble switching from game resolution to dynasty/season/playoff menu resolution.. I'm assuming the main menu has to have a high enough resolution to play that highlights video thing that exhibition games don't crash.

Correct, the menus are a lower resolution compared to the available settings for gameplay.

Just tested it right now.. The bug doesn't occur when I played dynasty games with a 640x480 resolution.. kind of kills me to have the graphics like that but it's the only way I can make it work without crashing at the end of games..

hi im just a newbie here...
same issue im experiencing, it does the 'quit bug' thing after i finished my first game under dynasty mode, it will crash going back to the desktop w/ the 'a problem caused the program...' message, but it meets all system requirements that i have on my laptop (NB200 toshiba), i did the workaround you've given but none worked out, i even tried it under the lowest settings but still issue persist...   HELP PLEASE!!!!!

The only tried and true solution we've found is the somewhat unscientific approach of uninstalling, reinstalling, checking to see if it works and if not, repeating the process until it's fixed. Usually after a couple of attempts, it works properly. Unfortunately the issue was not addressed by the official update and we've found no other workaround.
