Oklahoma City Thunder & All-Star Weekend DLC (Xbox 360)

Postby Andrew on Wed Jul 15, 2020 12:05 am

Since we've been able to preserve the NBA Elite 11 Demo and NBA 2K10 Draft Combine, I'd like to see if I can do the same for the free DLC that was released for NBA Live 09; namely, the Oklahoma City Thunder pack and the All-Star Weekend update. Please note that I only have the Xbox 360 version of these files. If this works and we can source the PS3 version of the DLC, then hopefully we can preserve those as well.

Before I add them to our Downloads database however, I'd like some help in testing them. For the moment, I've uploaded them here:

Oklahoma City Pack: https://www.mediafire.com/file/piigi2lw ... ck.7z/file
All-Star Weekend: https://www.mediafire.com/file/eu57865i ... nd.7z/file

Here are the instructions for copying them to your Xbox 360.

1. Extract the Content folder, leaving all subfolders intact.
2. Copy the Content folder to a USB drive.
3. Insert USB drive into Xbox 360.
4. On the Settings tab, go to System and then Storage.
5. On the Storage page, go to USB Storage Device.
6. When viewing the USB Storage Device, go to Games and Apps.
7. Select the DLC, and choose Copy.
8. Select your Xbox 360 Hard Drive as the destination.
9. After the DLC has been copied over, it will appear along with the rest of your data for NBA Live 09.

Let me know if it works, or if you run into any trouble!

Good to hear! Might put it up in the Downloads section then, for safekeeping and easy access.

I can check and see if I can upload the 365 roster file. It'd be worth seeing if that works. I will say that the 365 file I'm likely to have is the one that was getting the half-baked 2010 season updates because they didn't switch it off, so it might not be a great roster to have. But I'll take a look anyway.

That's the part we need to test. If it's not showing up in game, it might not be viable to distribute this way. However, it might be worth trying to rehash the files; the same thing will likely apply to any roster files.

Hey Andrew, Is it not working with OKC Pack and All Star Pack on XBOX 360?

I don't know, that's why I've uploaded them for the community to test out. They might not work unless they're rehashed (as per the video I posted), or they might not work at all. The files are there to try, but I can't guarantee success.
