NBA 2K16 Patch V6 Released for Xbox One

Kevin Durant takes on the Warriors in NBA 2K16

The sixth official title update for NBA 2K16 is now available on Xbox One. If the patch isn’t coming through, users are advised to restart their console. As mentioned in the bulletin earlier this week, the notes for Patch V6 are as follows:

  • Updated player portraits for a number of players.
  • Tuned the effectiveness of long outlet passes for players with the Break Starter badge.
  • Delay branching from Kobe Bryant Back size-up.
  • Re-worked size-up dribble launches to prevent unnaturally explosive first steps.
  • Tune miss chances for deep downcourt and cherry picking.
  • Dock vertical and rebounding when you go behind the basket. Don’t reset 3-in-the-key offense timer in baseline behind paint for human controlled blacktop players.

You can find a complete update history for the NBA 2K16 title updates here in our Wiki.

Unfortunately, there’s no word as yet on the PC patch, but until we’re advised otherwise, I expect that it will be coming soon. As before, we’ll be sure to post an update as soon as there’s any new information in that regard.
