NBA 2K18 Trailer: “Get Shook”; New Screens, Classic Team Info

LeBron James in the Get Shook NBA 2K18 Trailer

2K Sports has dropped a new NBA 2K18 Trailer, which is titled “Get Shook”. Featuring the usual gameplay clips from cinematic angles, the trailer is backed by Mobb Deep’s “Shook Ones”, which is included on the game’s soundtrack.

As you might expect, “Get Shook” features several big names, some of whom are also members of Team 2K. Featured players include Kyrie Irving, Jimmy Butler, LeBron James, Damian Lillard, DeMar DeRozan, and many more. The trailer also hypes this year’s version of The Prelude, which will be available September 8th on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

A few more screens have been released recently, including our first look at the Los Angeles Lakers All-Time team. Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O’Neal, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson, Wilt Chamberlain, James Worthy, and Pau Gasol have been confirmed for the squad. LeBron James has also been confirmed as being rated 97 Overall in this year’s game, while Dwyane Wade is rated 84 Overall. Check out all of the latest screenshots below for more overall ratings.

This Tweet by the official NBA 2K Twitter account also seems to have confirmed that the 1996-97 Miami Heat and 1998-99 New York Knicks will be among the sixteen new classic teams added in NBA 2K18. A full reveal of all the new retro squads is coming on August 25th.

Same as ’17… Nothing new except jump over the fallen player… Same movement mechanics, same graphics, a bit more detailed, but still the same. And oh! New logo on the jerseys of course
