Patch 1.12 is out now for both the Next Gen and Current Gen versions of NBA 2K22. As always, it should come through automatically as long as you’re online. If it doesn’t, try checking for new updates manually, or restarting your console. The patch should also be out soon on PC.
In addition to likeness updates on Current Gen and fixes for both versions, the patch updates NBA 2K22 for Season 7 in MyTEAM and MyCAREER, tipping off this Friday. Fixes include some rare gameplay bugs, a problematic animation transition on Next Gen, and errors with a Trophy/Achievement not unlocking.

I hope they fixed the PA announcers for Miami and Portland. They don’t say the players name after a made basket, assist, or when fouls are called. Very glaring omission.
I’ve got a sneaking suspicion that that one’s going to remain unresolved until NBA 2K23. Seems that there were some kind of issues with the PA Announcers from launch. Hopefully I’m wrong, but it disappointingly remains absent from the patch notes.
Thanks Andrew. I figured as much.
