NBA 2K23 Patch 7.0 Released

Season 7 will be tipping off this Friday in NBA 2K23, which means Patch 7.0 has been pushed through. As of writing, it’s available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The PC patch should be out in time for the new Season. As always, the patch will be downloaded automatically as long as you’re online. If it doesn’t, try restarting your console/Steam client, or checking for updates manually.

In addition to preparing MyCAREER and MyTEAM for Season 7, the patch includes a handful of player likeness updates and stability fixes. Notably, it resolves a rare hang in MyTEAM when two cards from the same pack receive a walkout reveal, fixes an errant wipe in Rec and Pro-Am games, and addresses a bug with Start Today related to Playoff progression.

NBA 2K23 Patch 7.0 Next Gen Notes

GENERAL

• Preparations for NBA 2K23 Season 7, launching on Friday, May 19th, at 8AM PT/11AM ET/4PM BST. Stay tuned for what we have in store!
• New WNBA uniform sponsor patches for the 2023 season have been added
• The following players have had general likeness updates or adjustments made:
  • Paolo Banchero (dynamic hair update)
  • Justin Holiday (dynamic hair update)
  • Trendon Watford (dynamic hair update)
  • Delon Wright (dynamic hair update)

MyCAREER/CITY

• Continued improvements to performance and stability have been made to enhance the overall experience in the City
• Resolved an issue in REC and Pro-Am games that could cause an errant screen wipe to occur during gameplay
• Addressed an issue where Blackout Bingo cards could have spots with no objectives

MyTEAM

• Fixed a rare hang that could occur when two player cards from the same pack receive walkout reveals

MyNBA/THE W

• Continued stability fixes and improvements have been made for MyNBA, MyNBA Online, and The W
• Fixed a logic issue preventing playoff progression from occurring when using Start Today in MyNBA.

GENERAL

GAMEPLAY

• Fixed an issue where changing the key bindings for the pro stick didn’t work across the entire game.

ART

• Fixed an issue where the headphones would clip through bucket hats.
• Fixed an issue where multiple Canada Goose hoodies did not have thumbnails when previewing them in the store and closet.
• Fixed an issue where multiple Aces/Spade’s clothing items did not have thumbnails when previewing them in the store and closet.
• Fixed an issue where the Witch Hat would clip into hoodies when equipping them at the same time.
• Updated WNBA uniforms with new sponsors.

OTHER

• Fixed a rare crash in MyLEAGUE when exiting from the Save menu.
• Numerous other minor fixes and improvements to enhance the overall NBA 2K23 experience.
