skin textures look a little better, tatts look great, but beside that, i’m very disappoint in what i saw, rim barely moved, pic show the puppet look still remains, and the off ball defense crouch is still in game, even when ball isnt near the people,

Hopefully they can clean some of that up before it goes gold. The game isn’t finished after all, it’s an alpha build on display.

The graphics is pretty awesome. The player’s face and body looks more realistic but I am not impressed about the jerseys, the jersey’s look so small and has to improve it’s texture. I hope EA could improve it. Can’t wait to see more previous.

I agree about the jerseys. There is something about the player model’s torso in the screenshots that makes the jerseys look small. There is also no movement in the jerseys from what i could tell.

I’ll readily admit that I’m not the harshest critic when it comes to graphics, but I think those screens look pretty good for the most part. I’d agree on the assessment of the jerseys but the lighting looks better than NBA Live 10, the faces are pretty spot on and the player models seem fine. I don’t think either game has completely nailed it as 2K’s bodies still look a bit bulky to me, but for my money both games are doing fairly well in the graphics department.

Some of the snark I sometimes see comparing the graphics in both games to the last generation (or sometimes even the SNES) is just silly, childish hyperbole. That’s not to say you can’t criticise either game’s graphics but we should all do so in a constructive and thoughtful manner. It’s funny because I’ve seen the graphics in both series deemed to be “cartoonish”, which had led to me really disdaining the term. It just feels like a lazy buzzword to cover dissatisfaction with any imperfections in the graphics.

Anyway, like I said I think both games are doing pretty well in the graphics department, though neither of them are perfect. Liking those screens for the most part.
