NBA Live 16 Update v1.03 Released

A new update (v1.03) has been pushed through for NBA Live 16, at least for the PlayStation 4 version of the game; if you’re on Xbox One and have received the patch, please let me know. Unfortunately, there are no detailed patch notes at this time, and the update history for NBA Live 16 only describes the latest patch as containing “minor bug fixes”, same as the 1.0.1 and 1.02 title updates.

I’ve reached out to EA Sports, and I’ve been informed that the latest patch isn’t a big gameplay or features update, but instead fixes some crashes. It’s also intended to address the framerate issues that some users were experiencing in Summer Circuit. Having played a single player Summer Circuit game earlier today, the fix certainly seems to have worked.

Hopefully at some point, more detailed patch notes will be released for the latest title update, and any future title updates for NBA Live 16. I made sure to pass that feedback along to my contacts at EA Sports, so hopefully there’s at least a chance that we’ll get more informative patch notes in the future. If any more information about the latest patch for NBA Live 16 is released, we’ll be sure to post it.

In the meantime, feel free to post about your experiences with the latest patch in the comments section below, as well as this thread in the NBA Live 16 section of the NLSC Forum. If you’d like to post any bug reports, please use this thread. Got some general feedback, including suggestions related to gameplay, game modes, or features? Feel free to make use of this thread! We’ll be sure to pass all constructive feedback along to the NBA Live 16 development team, and of course, we’ll be compiling our NBA Live 17 Wishlist in the not too distant future.
