NBA Live 18 has received a new roster and data update, adding opening night lineups to the game. As always, the update will come through in-game, and will be downloaded automatically as long as your PlayStation 4 or Xbox One has an active Internet connection.
At a glance, it appears that the rosters are generally accurate in terms of all the players being on the correct teams. However, the lineups themselves appear to ignore injuries and the current rotations. Projected regular starters who are currently out of action (such as Kawhi Leonard and Tony Parker in San Antonio) are active and in the starting lineup in NBA Live 18. Oddly, Bogdan Bogdanovic’s appearance is also still completely wrong.
On a more positive note, as of the patch that was pushed through last week, the Los Angeles Lakers now have their correct classic uniform. It is indeed the Minneapolis-era jersey, rather than the uniform they had been wearing from 2000 to 2017.
As previously noted, we’re compiling feedback on the rosters to send along to the development team over in this topic in the NBA Live 18 section of the Forum. Feel free to report any issues with the rosters there, as well as share any impressions you may have in the comments section below.
