Mr. Pete is a character in NBA 2K16's MyCAREER mode. He is Freq and Cee-Cee's father, married to their mother, Mrs. Martha.
Background & Biography[edit]
Mr. Pete lives in Harlem, New York with his wife Mrs. Martha, and their twin son and daughter, Freq and Cee-Cee. He also becomes a parental figure to Vic Van Lier, following Vic's mother's passing. He values hard work and education, but is supportive of his son's dream to go pro and play in the NBA.
Livin' Da Dream[edit]
Mr. Pete appears in several scenes throughout "Livin' Da Dream", and is present during Freq's college announcement, as well as his first NBA press conference. He is initially wary of agent Dom Pagnotti, but comes to trust him. He is also unsure about Freq's decision to go pro after one season at college, but ultimately supports his son's decision.
He is seen comforting Freq when he hears the news of Vic's passing. In one of the final scenes, he declines Freq and Cee-Cee's offer of a brand new house, preferring to stay in their family home in Harlem. However, he enthusiastically accepts the gift of a holiday to Jamaica.

- Mr. Pete shares a likeness with his voice actor, Arthur Richardson. As such, his appearance doesn't change, which can result in a lack of family resemblance with him and Freq.
