MyPLAYER Archetypes

MyPLAYER Archetypes are a gameplay mechanic introduced in NBA 2K17's MyCAREER. They determine the playing style of a MyPLAYER, reflecting their key skills as well as capping skills at a set level, depending on the Archetype. They also determine the Badges that can be upgraded for the player, though they do not place any restrictions on earning Bronze level Badges.
