NBA 2K11 will be the twelfth instalment in the NBA 2K series, due to be released in Fall 2010 (likely in late September or early October). It will be the direct sequel to NBA 2K10 and will likely be followed by NBA 2K12. As of April 2024, details about the game are unknown except that it is in production and will likely be released for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Playstation 2, Playstation Portable, Nintendo Wii and Windows PC.
Cover Player
On May 26th 2010, ESPN.com's Jon Robinson reported that 2K Sports were looking to feature former NBA great and current Charlotte Bobcats owner Michael Jordan as the cover player for NBA 2K11. Robinson also reported that Jordan himself may appear in the game as a playable character, along with former teammates and opponents so that gamers may faithfully recreate classic games and rivalries from the Jordan Era. The report remains unconfirmed as of April 16 2024.
