NBA 2K2 is the third installment in the NBA 2K series, released in the US and Canada on October 24th 2001 for the Sega Dreamcast and later ported to the PlayStation 2, Xbox and Nintendo Gamecube. It is the direct sequel to NBA 2K1 and was followed by NBA 2K3. Allen Iverson appeared on the game's cover.
